Bully Scholarship Edition is a game which is played from third-person perspective. The players can control high school student Jimmy Hopkins. During the gameplay Jimmy interacts with different groups like Bullies, Nerds, Preppies, and Jocks. As in many other games from this kind here the player should complete missions too. On the other hand when the player don’t want to complete any of the main missions he can take a part in some other open world side missions.
In addition Bullworth has five areas and they are:

- Old Bullworth Vale;

At the beginning of the game the player can only participate in the first area Bullworth Academy and after completing some missions the player can take part in the other areas which unlock as the story progresses.
